IMO Sub-Committee on Human Element, Training and Watchkeeping (HTW 12), London, 23-27 February 2026: adoption of two draft interim training guidelines for seafarers serving on methanol/ethanol- and ammonia-fuelled ships (forwarded to MSC 111); progress on the overall revision of the STCW Convention; framing of fatigue and rest hours; work plan through to 2029 (hydrogen, LPG, wind-assisted propulsion). This work is preparing the ground for MEPC 84.
