IMO Facilitation Committee (FAL 50), London, 23-27 March 2026, a busy session for port law: approval in principle of a draft IMO strategy on maritime digitalisation and continued work on a future maritime cybersecurity code; resolution amending the FAL Annex on facilitating crew changes and access to emergency medical care (entry into force expected 1 January 2028); approval of amendments on the transmission of API/PNR data; adoption of Resolution FAL.20(50) on preventing stowaway access; launch of a maritime single window assessment programme.
