ITLOS, 12 June 2026: constitution of a Special Chamber (7 members, chaired by Judge Tomas Heidar, with ad hoc judges Dapo Akande for Ghana and Makane Moïse Mbengue for Togo) to hear the dispute concerning the delimitation of the maritime boundary between Ghana and Togo in the Gulf of Guinea (Case No. 36), arising from eight years of unsuccessful bilateral negotiations.
