ITLOS, public hearings of 2 and 3 July 2026 (Hamburg), Seabed Disputes Chamber, joined cases NORI and TOML v. International Seabed Authority: requests for provisional measures against an ISA investigation into the two companies’ compliance with their contractual obligations regarding polymetallic nodule exploration. The ISA seeks dismissal of the requests; the case has been taken under advisement (order expected on 18 July).
