Confidentiality of in-house counsel opinions : Law No. 2026-122 of 23 February 2026 introduces a form of confidentiality (a French-style “legal privilege”) for legal opinions drafted by in-house lawyers holding a master’s degree in law and having completed ethics training. Its entry into force is to be set by decree, at the latest on the first day of the twelfth month following enactment.
