European Single Access Point for financial information — Ordinance No. 2026-31 of 28 January 2026 (Official Journal of 29 January) designates the collection bodies responsible for transmitting to the European Single Access Point the information published by listed companies and their shareholders, pursuant to the Transparency Directive, the Prospectus Regulation and the Short Selling Regulation.

Restriction of competition and technical interfaces — Cass. com., 28 January 2026, No. 23-20.245 — The Commercial Chamber rules on an injunction concerning the marketing of connection interfaces for geolocation systems, in a dispute between Innov GPS, 2GA and Optima Concept on the grounds of restrictive competition practices.

Abrupt termination of commercial relations — Cass. com., 28 January 2026, No. 24-18.208 (Cartocad v. Autodesk) — Quashing of a Paris Court of Appeal ruling that had dismissed a claim for damages based on the abrupt termination of an established commercial relationship.

Casino case: corruption and market manipulation — The Paris Criminal Court announced, on 29 January 2026, the conviction of five individuals and five legal entities for private corruption, organised market manipulation and insider trading, as part of an investigation opened in 2018 into the financial disclosures of the Casino and Rallye groups.
