Week of 2 to 8 March 2026
On 4 March, the US Court of International Trade (CIT), acting on a referral from the Supreme Court concerning the mechanics of refunds, orders US customs authorities to remove the unlawful IEEPA duties applied to imports still being processed and not yet finally liquidated, around 19 million entries affected. This decision suspends final liquidation of entries subject to these duties. On the same day, Brazil ratifies the EU-Mercosur agreement.
