Law No. 2026-553 of 29 June 2026 to improve access to housing for public service workers : Enacted on 29 June 2026 and published in the Official Journal of 30 June, this law, originating from a bill definitively adopted under the accelerated procedure, contains several measures aimed at facilitating access to housing for public officials (reservation of rental housing, use of the prefectural quota, coordination with existing social housing schemes). The text is of direct interest to social landlords and local authorities acting as project owners for intermediate housing schemes.
