Arbitration Cost and Late-Payment Interest Calculators

Guyader Avocat · Tools

Eight free calculators to estimate the cost of an international arbitration or the interest due on an unpaid French invoice. The schedules are the institutions’ own, checked against their official texts.

Which tool should I use?

If your contract already names an institution, open its calculator. If the clause is still to be drafted, the comparison tool shows what the same dispute would cost at eight institutions. To see what one party actually spends, counsel and experts included, use the budget calculator. For an invoice left unpaid by a French business customer, the late-payment calculator works out what French law lets you claim.

Frequently asked questions

Are these calculators reliable?

The schedules are taken from each institution’s official texts and, where it publishes one, checked against its own calculator. Where an institution’s online calculator departs from its text, the page says so and follows the text. The result remains an estimate: the institution fixes the actual amounts in each case.

Do the amounts include VAT and counsel fees?

No. Amounts exclude taxes. Except for the budget calculator, the tools price institutional costs and arbitrators’ fees, not counsel or expert fees.

Are the schedules up to date?

Each tool states the date of the schedule it applies: ICC 2026, SIAC 2025, SCC 2024, CAMP 2022, and the CCJA under Decision No. 004/99. The ECB rates and the French legal interest rate used by the late-payment calculator are updated every six months.

Can I share or print a result?

Yes. Each calculator lets you copy the estimate, copy a link that reopens the same scenario, and print the result or save it as a PDF.

Results are independent estimates, excluding taxes, and are not legal advice for a specific case. Each tool states its sources and the date of the schedule applied.
