Fine on a professional association for a cartel — Decision No. 26-D-03 of 17 March 2026 — The Competition Authority fines the Syndicat national des moniteurs de ski français (national union of French ski instructors) €3.4 million for imposing on its members an exclusivity requirement prohibiting them from practising outside ESF ski schools. This decision applies, for the first time, the new sanctions cap specific to trade associations, resulting from the transposition of the ECN+ Directive.
